FILMING OF FLYBOYS AT THE AIRFIELD

Old Club Chipmunk (G-BXDM) shortly after the early-morning explosion of the Buncefield Fuel Depot one crisp-clear morning in 2005.

Picture from an aerobatic charity event. Jason Phelan from the CAA attempted to fly in as many aerobatic aircraft as possible within 24 hrs in order to raise money for Fly2Help Charity.
He flew into Halton in an Extra, was turned upside down in the Citabria and then a Chipmunk and departed in another Extra belonging to the Blades aerobatic team. Pictures show Jason being interviewed at Halton by BBC Oxford. (Brendan Nichol)

Dave Scott's unique (it is the only one in the World) Dart Kitten at home in it's hangar at Marsh Hill Farm ( the airstrip is clearly visible from the air a few miles South West of Halton).
Other aeroplanes based there are a Piper L4 Cub and Jodel. If you fly over you can see the Jodel which is kept in a "Polytunnel."
