Groundschool

A Winter groundschool is run by a dedicated instructor, to teach the theoretical knowledge required to pass the 7 JAR PPL ground examinations.  This can be done by either joining small classroom-based presentations run on a regular basis at Halton Airfield or through  one-on-one private tuition.

Evening radio classes are presented by one of the Instructors and an ex-Air Traffic Controller on a regular basis for small groups.
