HOW TO GET TO THE AIRFIELD:

By road:

From Aylesbury: A413 (5miles)

From London: A413 (36 miles)

From M25 junction 20: A41 (Aylesbury) then B4009 (Wendover) (22miles)

From Uxbridge: A413 via Amersham

From Oxford/M40 junction 8A: via Thame A418 (Aylesbury) then A413 (Wendover) (19 miles)

Minor roads - M40 junction 6: B4009 Chinnor, Little Kimble, Terrick (Wendover)

From the East: Luton and Dunstable B489 (Ivinghoe) then B488 (Tring) and B4009 (Wendover)

By bus:

Local buses based on the Aylesbury route are very frequent.
Please note: The bus will take you to the main entrance at RAF Halton, to get to the airfield it is a short walk (10 – 15min). From the bus stop take Chestnut Avenue which will lead you to the entrance of the airfield.m>

By train:

Chiltern Line trains between Aylesbury and London Marylebone operate twice hourly for most of the day.  The closest stops are Stoke Mandeville or Wendover from which it is a short taxi ride.
